After a short break I’m back to bring you a review of a few Evolve Organic Beauty products. They were kindly gifted to me by the team in the UK and I have been testing them for a few months now. The products I chose are all based around boosting hydration and there is an eye serum, facial serum and face cream that I want to tell you about.

Evolve Organic Beauty was founded in Hertfordshire, UK by Laura Rudoe, a whopping 10 years ago and followed her involvement in founding ethical brand NUDE. Does anyone remember that brand? I loved their products and it was really exciting to learn that Laura had a huge part in making that brand a success. Evolve Beauty has been so well received which with Laura’s experience, passion for ethical products and trail-blazing entrepreneurship really came as no surprise. Evolve Beauty hand make their products in small batches and they are vegan and cruelty free. They’re available in Australia at The Lab Organics.

I had the pleasure of trying the Hyaluronic Eye Complex, Hyaluronic Serum 200 and Daily Renew Natural Face Cream. They Hyaluronic Eye Complex is a water-light serum that comes in a roller ball glass bottle. The roller ball is metal so when I apply it is so incredibly cooling and soothing to the eye area, I love to just massage the eye area with it. It contains Hyaluronic Acid, Cucumber Fruit Extract, Tuberosa Extract and Konjac Root powder which work together to help reduce the appearance of tired eyes, fine lines and puffiness. I find that because the serum is very light weight it doesn’t interfere with any products I put on top of it. Overall I just really like how portable it is and the results have been great. It’s not the only eye cream I would use as I like to lean towards something with peptides but I can’t help myself from reaching for it especially on fuzzy mornings.

Much like the eye complex, Hyaluronic Serum 200 is a hydrating concoction but delivered in a smooth, cooling gel form. I usually have issues with gel products pilling under my makeup and unfortunately this did occur so I have been only using it at night time. I pile it on quite liberally and it sinks in quickly, making way for more heavier serums and oils and there is no pilling once I apply other skincare on top. The ingredients list, as with all of these products, is succinct and there’s no fluff. It’s not my favourite hydrating serum but the texture is really beautiful and smooth. I do still prefer my Jane Scrivner Bioluronic Buzz 2000 as it contains more Hyaluronic Acid per milligram.

Last but no least, we come to my favourite product of them which is the Daily Renew Natural Face Cream. What really gets me with this cream is the texture on application and the way it makes my skin feel. It sits somewhere in the middle between a light lotion and traditional cream but upon application it feels rich. Never greasy, just a bloody good hydrator with ingredients that I know I like. Sunflower Seed, Shea Butter, Apricot Kernel, Sesame Seed, Argan are just some of them. I would say for very dry skin this wouldn’t be my pick but as a day cream it’s really lovely and I have continued to use it regularly. The scent is a sweet blend of vanilla and coconut.

Overall I think Evolve Beauty are doing great things. They have a huge range of products, including body care and hair care, which I am really keen to try. My favourite is definitely the cream followed by the eye complex. Thank you to Evolve for the opportunity to try their delicious products.
