When Zandra from The Beauty Archive asked me to take part in the Swedish celebration of Advent by hosting a giveaway on my Instagram page, I was honoured to accept! On the first Sunday of Advent (four weeks before Christmas), Swedes light the first candle to celebrate the coming of Christmas. It’s a special event so to extend this celebration world wide Zandra came up with the great idea to involve four bloggers in an international giveaway, each taking place on the Sundays leading up to Christmas. To enter the giveaway head over to my Instagram post for all of the details.

I had the opportunity to select three colour products from The Beauty Archive’s organic and vegan range so I picked a highlight, lip colour, bronzer as well as their retractable precision brush. The products come in very cute glass pots and they are all creamy, pigmented and dead easy to apply.

Empower is a champagne pearlescent cream highlight that is subtle and even in pigment. It is not over the top and creates a lovely glow when applied to the high points of the cheeks as well as the brow bone, bridge of the nose, cupid’s bow and inner eye corner. I like to also dab it on the centre of my eyelid to add a little bit of dimension to my eye makeup.

Timeless is a classic red lip cream that provides an opaque satin-matte finish that lasts and wears really nicely. I love how it can just be worn as a stain or as a higher impact lip colour. It also makes for a great blush.

Earthbound is probably the most versatile of the three in that it is a bronzer, contour, eye shadow, liner or lip colour. I think it’s such a flattering bronze without being orangey. In my look, which you’ll see below, I used the Retractable Precision Brush and Earthbound to line the lower lash line.

The Retractable Precision Brush is a very handy handbag companion and it’s completely cruelty free (as all of the products are) and vegan. It’s made in Italy and it’s a very high quality, silky brush that can be used on eyes, cheeks or lips. I like the innovative packaging. When the brush is in the closed position there is a little lid that closes over the top which is a good way to keep it clean.

Overall I think this is such a neat collection and with its minimalism it will definitely appeal to those seeking a fuss free, natural makeup look. These products were gifted for the purposes of the giveaway.

I hope you enjoyed my overview of these products and please do head over to my Instagram post to enter the giveaway. It’s open until Saturday 29th December 9pm AWST. Good luck and Merry Christmas!
