When I heard that @cultcosmetica.au were stocking @henneorganics, I skipped right along to check it out in person. One of the products that I walked away with was the Lip Mask, pictured here in all its orange glory.

It is designed to be worn as a thick layer on your lips, ideally in the evening. I leave it on for 10-15 then pat it off or sometimes I just fall asleep with it on. It contains a base of oils including avocado, jojoba, rosehip, sea buckthorn, cranberry, cumin seed, pomegranate and evening primrose. It has a minty scent and flavour which comes from the peppermint oil that gives lips a bit of a tingle to increase blood flow.

This lip mask leaves my lips feeling nourished, soft and plump and works best for me when I have exfoliated my lips. An easy way to do this is with your wash cloth/flannel or even using a soft bristled toothbrush. I break the rules and apply it in the morning too sometimes and just dab it off with a tissue when I'm done. It makes for great pre-lipstick prep!

In comparison to my all time favourite @bitebeauty Agave Lip Mask, I would say that this one is not as thick or sticky so a good option for those who prefer something less heavy in texture. You won't feel any residue with this one in the morning.

My skincare routine tonight is purifying in an attempt to give my skin a good, gentle clean. I spent the weekend cleaning and moving stuff and high pressure hose-ing and god knows what's sitting in my pores. I have been reunited with my untinted sunscreen love the @honuaskincare Malu Protecting Day Cream SPF30 from @thebeautyeditstore! Hailing from Hawaii, this luxurious cream contains local ingredients like red seaweed and noni fruit to protect and hydrate skin.
What I love most about it is the hydrating texture and how well it sits under makeup. It has no ghostly white cast and the scent transports me to the tropics. 🌴

If you typically don't wear sunscreen on your face every day then this could definitely hit two birds with one stone and be your day cream and SPF.

A percentage of Honua's proceeds from MALU go to Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii, a non-profit that educates the community and keeps the oceans clean. This sunscreen is of course reef friendly as well.
