Sadly, we are at our last instalment of the Fluke Illustrated Christmas Gift Guide. If you missed Parts 1, 2 and 3 you can catch up on those here. I hope you have enjoyed reading them as much as I have enjoyed putting them together. In Part 4, I’ll be recommending six hair, body products and sets that would make lovely gifts for Christmas.
1. Moonlit Skincare Ultimate Sleep Kit
The stuff that dreams are made of. Moonlit Skincare have come up with the perfect gift for the sleep lover or someone who deserves a good rest (think parents and pregnant mamas). Included is the soothing Midnight Shift Overnight Facial oil, the ‘Let Me Sleep’ Silk Sleeping Eye Mask and a Cloud 9 Silk Pillowcase which you can choose in either white or navy. Silk pillowcases are so good for your skin and hair because they are super smooth, allowing hair and skin to glide comfortably and they don’t absorb the skincare that is on your face! All three products are also sold separately.
Cost: AUD$130.00 from The Beauty Edit.
2. Kester Black Nail Polish
Inside this cute pink Christmas cracker are two mystery nail colours from Kester Black. The Kester Black Bon Bon gift set would be great for the younger girls in your family but if you prefer less of a surprise you could opt for the Christmas themed Dasher Glitterbomb Set or the Comet Glitterbomb Set. They come with 3 full size products which include a Top & Base Coat, a glitter nail polish and a standard colour nail polish. Kester Black are an Australian 10-free brand which means they don’t contain 10 of the nastiest typical nail polish ingredients.
Cost: AUD$54.00 from Kester Black.
3. Travel Pack by Yarok
Yarok is a very successful, natural hair care brand originating from New York City. They have quite a few gift sets on offer through The V Spot but my favourite is the Travel Pack because it’s not only a handy travel companion but a great way to try their products. It contains two hair serums, a volume shampoo and conditioner and a leave in conditioner spray which is also great for detangling damp hair. The Feed Your Sunshine serum is perfect for the Australian summer as it contains ingredients which help to protect the hair from chlorine and the sun.
Cost: AUD$57.95 from The V Spot.
4. Soak Society Bath Dew
Australian brand Soak Society have a great range of bath soaks and the newest addition to their clan is the Bath Dew. A personal favourite of mine, it is a bubble bath with a difference. It’s 100% natural, smells delicious and contains an interesting ingredient called Larch Tree Extract which is a plant collagen which helps to plump and smooth the skin. Combine this with one of the individual soaks to create a beautiful gift.
Cost: The Bath Dew is AUD$39.95 and the individual soaks are AUD$11.95 from Soak Society.
5. The Seeke Rose & Calendula Beauty Oil
Rose & Calendula Beauty Oil from Sydney brand The Seeke is a versatile product that can be used as a body oil, a bath oil, a perfume oil, a hair treatment or mixed with powder masks for a luxurious skin treat. It contains nourishing oils such as Camellia and Argan oil, as well as Calendula which has been infused in organic Olive Oil. The scent of Rose Geranium and Lavender is calming and the bottle is presented beautifully with suspended rose buds floating in the golden elixir.
Cost: AUD$59.95 from The Lab Organics.
6. Rohr Remedy Heavenly Body Gift Pack
Nothing beats a lovely body wash and moisturiser set. The Rohr Remedy Heavenly Body Gift Pack contains their Desert Lime Body Moisturiser and Honey Myrtle Body Wash in pump bottles which can either be used on the body or sit pretty next to the basin as a hand wash and hand lotion. Rohr Remedy use Australian indigenous ingredients which always results in a beautiful unisex scent.
Cost: AUD$50.00 from The Beauty Edit.
