Welcome to part 3 of the Fluke Illustrated Christmas Gift Guide which will be all about mens skincare gifts.  Lets face it, men can be tricky to buy for so I’m hoping that this guide will help to demystify mens skincare and show you that there are some great products out there that guys would actually want to use. The mens skincare industry is booming so it wasn’t hard to find natural and organic products to recommend. I’ve taken it a step further and kept it to Australian brands too.

If you missed Part 1 and Part 2 of the gift guide, you can catch up on them here.

1. Caim & Able Magnesium Gift Pack

Caim & Able Magnesium Gift Pack

If you are shopping for a man who participates in sports or likes to work out, then this would be perfect for him. Caim & Able have a range of muscle soothing magnesium bath salts and magnesium oil sprays, which you can mix and match to create your own gift. They will even gift wrap it for you! I personally really enjoy the Unscented & Less-Itch Magnesium Oil Spray With Aloe Vera and I think paired with one of the bath salts it would make a thoughtful gift for an active guy.

Cost: The magnesium oil spray is AUD$17.95 and the bath salts are AUD$29.95 from Caim and Able.

2. The Groomed Man Beard & Body Pack

For the bearded fellow, you might consider Melbourne based brand The Groomed Man. They are famous for their hilariously named beard oil called Morning Wood which is included in their Beard & Body Pack along with the Activated Charcoal & Bamboo Body Scrub and the Mangrove Citrus Beard Oil. Their oils can be used on the face, beard, hair or body. The Groomed Man also have a cool range of grooming tools so check it out while you’re there.

Cost: AUD$90.00 from The Groomed Man.

3. Skin Juice Man Brew Set

Australian brand Skin Juice is one of my favourites at the moment. Everything I have tried from them has impressed me so much so when I saw that they had released a gift pack for men, I was pretty excited to recommend it to you. The Man Brew pack includes a face cleanser and face moisturiser, the essentials in a skincare routine. I like that there are only two products, which won’t overwhelm a skincare newbie.

Cost: AUD$67.00 from The Beauty Edit.

4. Sodashi Jet Lag Recovery Kit

Sodashi Jet Lag Recovery Kit is a perfect gift for a guy (or girl) who travels for work, is planning a holiday or is an anxious flyer. It contains two products, a mist and a gel in mini travel-friendly sizes which are packaged in a silk drawstring pouch. These products are said to uplift, stimulate the digestive system and strengthen mental clarity and alertness.

Cost: AUD$51.00 from The Beauty Edit.

5. Handsome Shower Pack

The Handsome Shower Pack comes packaged in a box which includes the 2-in-1 Shampoo and Body Wash, the only two products a guy would need in the shower or toiletries bag. The 2-in-1 shampoo cleans and lightly conditions, a great time saver in the mornings. It contains peppermint which is awakening and invigorating whilst the body wash has some lovely Australian ingredients which help to clean and soften the skin.

6. Grown Alchemist Shaving Gel and Polishing Facial Exfoliant

Grown Alchemist Shaving Gel and Polishing Facial Exfoliant

Having covered cleansing and moisturising in this guide already, the two other vital steps in a guy’s skincare routine is exfoliating and shaving (unless they sport a beard in which case see item 2). Exfoliating is great to do prior to shaving so this duo of Grown Alchemist products would be perfect for that. Polishing Facial Exfoliant will help to scrub away dead skin cells and the Shaving Gel would ensure a smooth shave whilst calming the skin at the same time. They don’t come in a kit but who said you can’t make your own?

Cost: The Shaving Gel is AUD$34.95 and the Polishing Facial Exfoliant is AUD$54.95 from Grown Alchemist and in store at David Jones, Myer or Priceline.

I must say that this was my favourite guide to write so far and I hope that it gave you some ideas when shopping for the men in your life. Let me know if you select any of these gifts by leaving a comment below, or you can email me and connect with me on Instagram and Facebook.

Stay tuned for Part 4: Hair and Body.
